“ Randomly chose 131 Main for dinner with my husband. Truly enjoyed the experience! Michael was our server and provided excellent service! We started with the infamous cornbread...a must have! My husband ordered the Chicago Ribeye, and it was tender and juicy. I got the cedar plank salmon with a side of Brussels (seasonal veggie)---the best I've ever had! We didn't plan on dessert but was offered it complimentary so we chose the banana cream pie...icing on the cake! Had the best time, great atmosphere, views of the busy kitchen, and excellent service! Will definitely come back! ”

“ 131 Main in the South Park area is easily one of my go to spots when I'm in the mood for consistently great food and a comfortable upscale vibe. I recently had cheeseburger and it was excellent -juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. But honestly you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. I've also tried their filet mignon, crab cake, Thai salad, and smoked salmon and each one impressed me. Service is always attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between relaxed and refined. Highly recommend! ”

“ I had an amazing experience at 131 Main! The ambiance was lovely, creating a perfect atmosphere for a meal. The service was outstanding—friendly and attentive. Shout out to Michael, Troy and Shaun! They were amazing!! Now, let’s talk about the food. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I started with the wedge salad, while my friend opted for the Caesar salad. The croutons were absolutely AMAZING—you could really taste that they were house-made! For my main course, we shared the ribs, and they were fall-off-the-bone tender. The next day, I couldn't resist going back for lunch and had the blackened chicken pasta and the wedge salad (yes again), which was packed with flavor. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I would rate it a perfect 10/10. Can’t wait to return! ”

“ This restaurant has always been for years my favorite. They won my heart and taste buds from the beginning just from the absolutely best ribs I’ve ever had and the staff always amazing. But this evening they became family. Since I moved to Columbia sc, I have to make an hour and a half trip to visit, which I do so once every few months because I miss this restaurant so much. Currently 4 months pregnant and craving my ribs and my birthday in a few days i figured id make the trip. I came in to a busy Saturday, there was a wait but it was so worth it. Serena was my server, what a sweet spirit! Being alone i sometimes feel like the odd one out. She was like a close friend I was coming to visit and her service was amazing. I work in the service industry, so I appreciated her that much more for it. I told her I’d made the trip for my ribs, I suppose word got to management and I am so sorry I cannot remember this angelic young woman’s name but she wore glasses with dark hair. Both these women were angels.. the past few months have been exceptionally difficult for me and the comfort of food is what I was seeking. This woman then explained to me that the restaurant was wanting to take care of my entire bill for me. It took everything I had not to cry my eyes out, in a world where it is sometimes hard to simply connect with another human being in such a pristine and classy establishment as much as they are amazing I just was not expecting such a kind gesture... I hope they know what a an impact they had on me. Not because of a free meal but making me FEEL.. less alone when I came all by myself. The manager or one of the management team was right, you never know what someone is going through in their life. Thank you to those sweet hostesses, Serena, and that management team. ”

“ Our waiter James was outstanding. Said he was new but did great. They all work together to keep drinks filled and maintain great service. Quiet atmosphere, was busy but you couldn't tell. “ We went to celebrate our friend birthday with a lunch. Made our reservations ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Our server Chase was great, knowledgeable and friendly. He suggested most of the items and they were all delicious. We were given complementary dessert for the birthday girl. After food he even offered us coffee and it was just perfect after the food. They have nice fire pit outside with chairs to enjoy the weather. Enjoyed our lunch with them. ”

“ After visiting 131 Main Lake Norman, we went to the Southpark location as a family for the first time. Compared to Lake Norman, this place was more spacious and comfortable. We arrived 2-3 minutes before our reservation time and were seated immediately without waiting. The service was quick and friendly. As always, we started with cornbread and chips with salsa. I ordered the Burning Chair cocktail, and my spouse got a margarita. The corn chips were warm, and the salsa and guacamole were very tasty. For the main course, the salmon was perfectly cooked, and I had it served with mashed potatoes; it was delicious. The kids ordered ribeye and cheeseburgers, and both loved their meals. For dessert, warm brownie with ice cream was a must. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had a lovely evening. After the Lake Norman location, I would definitely recommend the Southpark 131 Main as well. ”
